# Display not starting up for interactive desktop with xfce on RHEL 8

I am setting up OOD 2.0 on a new cluster that is using RHEL 8 as the base image. We have turbovnc and websockify installed but the interactive desktop is not starting up. This is what I am seeing in the output.log after the connection fails. Any help with this is appreciated:

We found out that the filesystem was not allowing the ‘:’ in the filenames so the xserver pid file was not created.
