I have someone trying to start up an xfce desktop inside a container and trying to access that desktop using Open Ondemand. He says that when he launches the application if he doesn’t start up the connection right away the vnc session just goes blank with no desktop in it.

He is starting up the container in the before.sh script and doing some other work in the script.sh. Is there something I should have them look at inside the container for something that might not be starting correctly?

The other thing that happens is that when he does get connected to the desktop it suddenly stops working.

Could you have them move that to the actual `script.sh` and try again. The `before.sh` is likely not what they are thinking and isn’t where that should be happening.

He said that makes sense but what actually fixed it was turning off the screen saver.
