Do I need nfs access on my ood head node?

I need to know before I make my proxmox container whether or not what I call ood-head requires the ability to mount the users’ nfs shares.
It was suggested to me that ood-head would spawn jobs through slurm on compute nodes which already have this nfs access, and that it’s not necessary on ood-head itself. Is this true?

Yes you need the NFS mount on the head node because we use it to pass information back to the UI (i.e., where/how to connect to the job).
