# Open OnDemand 1.6.20 patch release now available

We have released a 1.6.20 patch release with the following bug fixes:

- fix bug to ensure `update_ood_portal` installs new config if existing ood-portal.conf matches checksum [#83](https://github.com/OSC/ondemand/pull/83). See the [Discourse topic](https://discourse.openondemand.org/t/update-ood-portal-in-ondemand-1-6-19-1-el7-x86-64-refuses-to-make-new-configuration/546) for an explanation of what happened. Thank you Ric Anderson (@azric) for finding the bug and providing the solution!

To upgrade from 1.6.19 to 1.6.20:

```
sudo yum update ondemand
```
