# OSC center wide downtime Wednesday March 31st means yum.osc.edu may be unavailable

OSC is having a [center wide downtime](https://www.osc.edu/calendar/events/2021_03_31-system_downtime_march_31_2021) Wednesday March 31st. During this time [https://yum.osc.edu/](https://yum.osc.edu/) may be unavailable, which means during that time installing or upgrading OnDemand via rpm might not work.
