is someone knows How to set the latest module version as default when you use auto_modules ?
In this case the default used is 2021a

It’s on your side - I mean within the module itself.
When the user chooses default what’s issued in the script is module load matlab (the default version on the lmod side). As opposed to module load matlab/2022a (the specific version 2022a).
Which is to say - it’ll load whatever module you’ve setup to be the default version.
