Copy of shareable link of Interactive desktop app

Hi Support,

To copy the shareable link for the interactive desktop app, I clicked the “View Only (Shareable Link)” button and copied the resulting link as shown below:

https://xxx.xxx.edu.hk/pun/sys/dashboard/noVNC-1.3.0/vnc.html?autoconnect=true&password=xAk7SZPb&path=rnode/xxx/19540/websockify&resize=downscale

However, I noticed that the shareable link contains a password. Is there an alternative method for copying the link that doesn’t include a password? Our Open OnDemand version is v3.0.1 Thanks

I don’t know of another way to share that link, but the onetime password for that is generated when when that session starts and is needed for the connection.

To be clear, this is NOT a user password. It is a one time session password, much like a token. Clients still need to be authenticated via their user credentials. As such, making this available via plain text doesn’t pose any type of security risk.
