"error when parsing version"

Hi,

We are in process of including a new parameter in slurm.conf on slurm managed cluster. The new parameter is called RestrictedCoresPerGPU and it is located in the node definition. When we deploy it we get two effects:

  1. Mate desktop tab disapears in the OOD gui.

  2. we get an error as the following:

Please advise.

I’m not a Slurm expert, but it seems to me that you’d need to upgrade the client binaries on the compute nodes (if you are indeed issuing sinfo from a compute node).
