Secure low-level connections in VNC

Good morning everybody.

Recently I’ve been checking how protocols work at low level using VNC connections (Virtual Desktop app for example) in the Open OnDemand.
I see in the following scheme that the connections can be secure from the user to the OOD server using HTTPS and WSS, but my question here is about the connection from the OOD server to the compute nodes. From what I understand these connections are HTTP and WS (non secure traffic), I can see the sense here if the machines involved in the communication are in a secure network, but I want to ask if any way to securize this traffic was contemplated by the OOD team.

Best regards!

Contemplated sure, but not implemented.

OK, thanks for the quick response.

Best regards
