"Select Path" button is not displayed

I use Open OnDemand 3.0.1 on Rocky Linux 8.7.

I am reporting that I have noticed that in a case the “Select Path” button on the web form is not displayed under certain conditions.

The figure below shows the normal case.

If the following two conditions are met simultaneously, the “Select Path” button will not be visible in my environment.

  • rclone is enable
  • “Files” group exists in the navigation bar.

Specifically, make the following settings in /etc/ood/config/ondemand.d/ondemand.yml.

nav_bar:
  - Files
remote_files_enabled: true

Is this a bug?

The file picker has a bug in it, that could be it given your second condition around the Files menu.
