Help Menu Customization

I am customizing the Help menu to to provide links to our wiki articles. I was able to add the OOD_DASHBOARD_HELP_CUSTOM_URL to the dashboard. The docs mention using locale with en.dashboard.nav_help_custom.
I see the “translation missing” message when I hover over the link.

How do I use the en.dashboard.nav_help_custom variable? where does it go?
Related to that, how can I change the “Nav Help Custom” menu to reflect what it actually is?
