Installing open Ondemand

Hello,

I am new to Open OnDemand and trying to integrate it with our HPC setup.

We have a cluster with a head node, a few CPU compute nodes, and a login node. What would be the best practice to integrate Open Ondemand? Is it good to run open ondemand image using singularity on the login node? Will it lead to a high load on the login node? Can we install Open Ondemand on a VM?

Hi and welcome!

This is your best bet, to have a VM. An alternative would be the login node. There are some sites that run this in a container (podman or docker) but as it’s your first install, I’d say a host install is easier.
