Rclone interactive app

Has anyone created an OOD interactive app for the new-ish rclone web gui? I attempted this a while back, using an image based on the “official” Dockerfile in the rclone git repo. It kinda-sorta worked for Google Drive (where we have “unlimited” storage); I listed some issues in this GitHub issue.

I think an rclone app would be a great complement to the forthcoming Globus app that was mentioned in the SC19 BoF (or substitute for, for institutions that don’t have Globus, or haven’t purchased the relevant cloud plugins).

I’m not aware of an app like this, but I think it’d be awesome to have. I’ve never heard of that but it looks super cool. I think it would be very good functionality to have - to be able to speak all those file protocols. Thanks for the heads up on it.

I have asked one of our interns to take a look at this. We’ll keep this updated on how it goes.
