Upgrade from 3.0.1 to 3.0.3 fails

Hi - it’s me, again!

So I have a peculiar one. I had OOD 3.0.1 installed and after upgrading to 3.0.3 I get this message:

(having to type this manually because it won’t let me copy/paste it - hopefully I don’t typo)

Error compiling CSS asset
Errno:EACCES: Permission denied @ dir_s_mkdir - /var/www/ood/apps/sys/dashboard/tmp/cache

/usr/share/ruby/fileutils.rb:253:in ‘mkdir’

If I create the directory manually, it will keep giving me more directories to create, until it says it can’t create the file at the very end of it all.

Any ideas?

Did you modify 3.0.1 in any way? There was also this issue where they’d modified 3.0.1.

What you’re seeing shouldn’t happen - because the package precompiled the assets. So there must be something funny happening where it’s not recognizing the assets that we distributed?
