VNC always asks for a resolution but afaict setting it doesn’t do anything. Have other folx noticed the same thing?

Yep, as far as I know this feature is not working, it will always depend on the selectors that you can use in the connection zone.
Yea that’s strange. I can replicate and filed this bug upstream for 4.1.
Someone at the conference said this was fixed in response to issue 2994, so it may just be that it reverted back as development continued.
That’s compression & quality, not resolution. AFAIK resolution is the size of the screen, but since it doesn’t seem to work that’s just a guess. I guess quality relates to the number of pixels like resolution does but I do suspect they’re different, or at least meant to be.
